Reiki - The Healing Touch

What about Research?
While many practitioners & their clients
have experienced first hand the benefits
of Reiki, traditional western science
research methods have found subtle
energy difficult to measure. However,
there is a growing number of research
studies that show the benefits of energy therapies including Reiki.
Thanks to Gary E. Schwartz, PhD, The Center for Reiki Research,
William Rand, Hartford Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center
and Yale University along with others, science is beginning to
build a solid foundation under this non-invasive, complementary
health option.

Before proceeding, please take the time to
read the disclaimer on the Website Disclaimer page.

It's important to remember that not so long ago homeopathy,
yoga, mindfulness meditation and chiropractic treatment
were all discounted or overlooked.  Now they are commonly
recommended by some conventional medical professionals and
offered to patients receiving services through
many integrative health departments.

"I always caution against discounting treatments just
because we don't understand how they work or because
the research studies are still in progress. Try it, you too
may find that you like it and that it has some benefit.
Certainly, it fits the principle "Do No Harm."
