Reiki is not a religion.
Reiki is used by people from many different spiritual, religious, cultural and ethnic backgrounds including many Christians.
Reiki is a complementary medicine.
Even though it is very powerful, it is also gentle. Reiki is a biofield therapy or energy healing. It does not replace medical or psychological treatments. As a complementary therapy Reiki is used to complement traditional and alternative medicine. It works to improve the effectiveness of all other types of therapy and has been used to aid healing of virtually every known illness and injury.
Many people incorporate Reiki as a daily self-healing, contemplative practice.
If you are seeking a contemplative meditation practice, we highly recommend you consider adding Reiki to your self care and wellness practices.

How is Reiki Administered
- It does not require the client to disrobe. Reiki can be administered while the client is seated or laying down.
- It does not require the practitioner to touch the client. A light touch is used only with the client's prior permission.
