I take Reiki and self care serious. Reiki is a Japanese natural method of energy balancing with the goal of bringing balance and harmony within the energetic field.

As Reiki Practitioners & Reiki Master Teachers we do not diagnose medical conditions, nor do we perform medical treatment, prescribe substances or interfere with the treatment of licensed medical professionals. However, Reiki professionals can be important members of a client's health care team.
Research has shown that Reiki can help reduce stress, and it is often used to help prevent and assist in improving stress related illnesses. Research continues to provide insight and support of the benefits of Reiki when used for various specific conditions. The value of Reiki has been recognized by many in conventional health care professions and it is used in many hospitals and cancer centers across the United States. The U.S. Military is currently including Reiki in the integrative health departments at Fort Bliss & Fort Hood.
Recipients of Reiki commonly report experiencing deep relaxation, a sense of peace and well-being following a Reiki session. It is not a religion. However, it is often practiced as a spiritual self care program. It is also often integrated into daily life as a contemplative meditative practice for many people.
